16 July 2007:
Cosme became the first hurricane of the 2007 East Pacific storm season. It quickly weakened, but managed to maintain tropical depression strength for several days.

04 September 2007:
Hurricane Henriette made landfall on the Baja California peninsular - crossing it in about 6 hours and emerging into the Sea of Cortez, still at hurricane strength. A second landfall happened the next day near Guaymas, Sonora, bringing heavy rainfall to Acapulco.
